Job summary

Careerline Ltd is recruiting a Nursery Nurse for a Harrow prep school. The role supports the learning, development and wellbeing of young children, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities and foster confidence and independence.

Hours are 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week), term-time only. Salary ranges from £21,050 to £23,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Supports the learning, development and wellbeing of young children during their first year of school.
• Works closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities and support early literacy and numeracy.
• Provides a nurturing environment that encourages confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Observes pupil progress and ensures each child feels safe, supported and ready to learn.
