Job summary

YMCA Dulverton Group is seeking a proactive team member to support our nursery team with snack and meal preparation and to cover staff lunches. You will contribute to a play-based curriculum by ensuring healthy, safe food options for children and staff, while following Food Standards Agency guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Standards Agency requirements or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own workload.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children; Enhanced DBS check required.
• Experience supporting nursery teams with food preparation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare snacks and meals for nursery staff and children.
