Job summary

Little Adventures Nursery in St Philips, Bristol, is recruiting an Early Years Level 5 Apprentice to join the team. This apprenticeship is ideal for an experienced level 3 practitioner who wants to develop professionally while gaining a Level 5 qualification with children aged 0-5.

Qualifications

• Interest in early years education and a goal to achieve a Level 5 qualification.
• Must already hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• Good communication and ability to build relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding and children's welfare.
• Basic literacy and numeracy; willingness to complete functional skills or portfolio work.
• Experience or volunteering in childcare is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of observation-led learning activities.
• Promote children's personal, social, emotional and communication development through nurturing interactions.
• Contribute to assessment and record-keeping in line with nursery policies and apprenticeship requirements.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and stimulating learning environment.
• Work with families to share progress and support continuity of care and learning.
