Job summary

Susana's Home From Home Day Nursery in Liverpool is seeking an apprentice to help set up activities and support children with personal routines and communication skills. You will follow safeguarding policies and build positive relationships with children, parents and staff, while working under supervision and completing qualification requirements.

On-the-job training will be provided, with 20% off-the-job learning incorporated into the working day.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 4 and below in Maths and English or equivalent is desired but not essential.
• Personal Qualities: Trustworthy, Keen, Approachable, Positive; interest in working with children.
• Skills: Caring, Patient, Kind, Punctual, Enthusiastic, Willing to learn; Training to be Provided.
• Your employer will provide on-the-job training and 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated into the working day.
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard including Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours and Functional skills in Maths and English if required.

Working Week Monday - Friday hours to be arranged
