What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the Early Years team, supporting teachers, TAs, and nursery staff to deliver exceptional provision.
  • Designing and delivering a play-based curriculum that meets EYFS goals while sparking imagination and independence.
  • Creating a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, curious, and confident to explore.
  • Using observation and assessment tools to track progress and plan meaningful next steps.
  • Working closely with parents and carers, building partnerships that celebrate every milestone.
  • Collaborating with the SENCo and support staff to ensure inclusion and early intervention are central to practice.
  • Championing high-quality early years education across the school, leading by example in pedagogy and practice.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an Early Years or Foundation Stage leadership role.
  • A creative, reflective practitioner who values curiosity, play, and progress in equal measure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support others.
  • Confidence in curriculum design, continuous provision, and effective use of assessment.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a belief that the early years lay the foundation for lifelong learning.
