Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
  2. Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  3. Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.

  5. Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  6. Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.
  7. Supporting the deputy and manager with the daily running of the setting.
  8. Providing support and guidance to the nursery practitioners.

Hours:

  1. Staunton-on-Wye Pre-School & Kids Club are open all year-round; from 07:45-16:45 on Monday and Friday and 07:45-17:45 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  2. The successful candidate will be required to work between 35-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification or equivalent.
