Job summary

Early Years Alliance in Bradford is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Lead to support children's learning through high-quality play and creche provision. You will foster a nurturing environment and work closely with families to build confidence in early learning.

The role focuses on delivering EYFS-based sessions, safeguarding, and inclusive practices within a friendly team, with part-time hours and a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2028.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Ability to engage families to support children's learning.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality EYFS focused play and learn sessions and creche provision.
• Support children's learning, development and well-being in a safe and inclusive environment.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and families.
• Encourage family engagement in children's learning through creative activities.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.

In this rewarding role, you will support children's learning and development through the delivery of high-quality play and learn sessions and creche provision. You will play a key role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive, while helping families build confidence in supporting their children's early learning.

Main duties

• Lead and deliver high-quality EYFS focused play and learn sessions and creche provision.
• Support children's learning, development and well being in a safe and inclusive environment.

• Encourage family engagement in children's learning through creative and meaningful activities.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and organisation policies are followed at all times.

Essential criteria

• Childcare qualification at Level 3 or above with a good understanding of EYFS and child development
• Experience of delivering children and family sessions
• Ability to deliver to the EYFS welfare requirements
• An understanding of the value and importance of home learning and the ability to encourage parental involvement
• Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative
