Salary: £38,766 - £60,092 per annum based on experience

What skills and experience are we looking for?

The successful applicant will be carrying out the professional duties of a teacher whilst undertaking any duties and tasks under the reasonable direction of the Principal and Assistant Principal to include:

•Planning and delivering lessons to pupils with communication and interaction needs
•Assessing and monitoring the specific needs of the pupils with SEN
•Working as part of a team to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils

What you will need to succeed

•QTS (or equivalent) and qualified to degree level (or equivalent)
•At least 2 years' experience working in a Primary School in the UK
•The right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
•You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
•No prior experience in a SEN provision required but must demonstrate a thorough understanding of SEN
•Ability to demonstrate knowledge of effective strategies to meet the specific communication needs of pupils with significant SEND
•Competence in planning lessons effectively for groups and all pupils
•Successful teaching experience across primary, secondary, or both
•Strong subject knowledge in own subject area
•Ability to teach across other subject areas
