Join a leading educational provider as an Early Years KS1 Teacher at Baston House School, where your passion for teaching will make a real difference. This permanent position emphasizes the importance of student wellbeing and engaging teaching methods, with the benefit of a trial for a 4-Day Working Week. Enjoy a supportive environment focused on inclusivity, providing a comprehensive benefits package to support staff wellbeing.
How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four?
Our colleagues' wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we're always looking for new ways to improve everyone's work/life balance. We're taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).
If the trial is a success, we'll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group - so there's never been a more exciting time to join!
As an experienced and motivated qualified teacher, you will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, develop innovative teaching methods, and assess student progress, ensuring their personal development and wellbeing are prioritized.
We seek a passionate teacher and great communicator, comfortable engaging with pupils with diverse needs and contributing to the school's vision. Building caring relationships and collaborating with colleagues and external professionals is essential.
Baston House is an independent provider of education and care for young people and adults with Autism aged 5 to 19. We focus on creating a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes learning, wellbeing, and independence.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including life assurance, pension schemes, mental health support, flexible benefits, and more. Our goal is to make a positive impact on our pupils' lives while supporting our staff's wellbeing.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. All applicants will undergo social media checks and a fully enhanced DBS. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications.
Note: You will work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, with the 4-Day Working Week being subject to successful probation and not a contractual benefit.
