Bright Horizons Poole Day Nursery and Pre School in Poole, Dorset is seeking an Early Years Chef to prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals for children, with minimal waste and clear communication of dietary needs to teams and parents.

You will lead cookery club sessions, support nursery activities, and contribute to a healthy, nutritious diet.Applicants should have cooking experience, passion for nutrition, knowledge of dietary requirements, and Food Safety COSHH awareness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a cooking role.
• Passion for nutrition and healthy eating.
• Ability to manage different dietary requirements (allergies).
• Food Safety Level 2 or above must be passed on day 1.
• COSHH awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals with minimum wastage.
• Cater for dietary requirements and communicate to teams and parents.
