Vetting by Disclosure Scotland

For regulated work involving children or protected adults, a satisfactory PVG check is required. Most posts will also require a Criminal Convictions Form, and disclosure checks are paid for by the applicant if successful.

Regulatory Bodies

If registration with bodies like HCPC or SSSC is required, applicants must obtain and maintain registration, including paying relevant fees. SSSC fees are waived for local authority staff under the current pay deal.
