Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage TA with SEND Experience

Location:

Oldham

Salary:

£450 - £500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.

The School and Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant with SEND experience to join our team this September. The role involves supporting children exhibiting challenging behaviours and assisting with lesson preparation for SEN children. You will help children participate, pay attention, and contribute. The school in Oldham requires you to provide one-on-one support for SEN students working in small groups with varying needs. Managing classroom activities and maintaining positive classroom boundaries are essential skills.

Hours of Work

8:30 am - 3:30 pm, full-time, 5 days per week from September 25.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • A good understanding of the National Curriculum framework or willingness to learn.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
  • Positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a focus on professional development.
  • Strong classroom management skills to ensure a positive learning environment.
