Level 2 in Education and Childcare

Job description

Are you:

  • An experienced educational practitioner with Level 2 in Education and Childcare or equivalent, deeply committed to supporting families with young children from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
  • Prepared to work collaboratively as part of an area team, operating at various locations throughout the week to ensure the delivery of high-quality services across the Clapham/Brixton Hill area. You should be able to move between sites confidently and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Skilled in encouraging parents to access family support services and adept at fostering high levels of participation in events and activities.
  • Enthusiastic about working within a supportive, adaptable, and dynamic team environment, and eager to embrace new responsibilities and challenges. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities, maintain a "can-do" attitude, and excel under pressure.
  • Proficient in IT with a willingness to further develop your skills and knowledge. Support and training will be provided as needed to enhance your capabilities.

Experience: Prior experience working in a nursery school or early years setting and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
