Job summary

Woodlands Nurseries is seeking a Nursery Education Teaching Professional (x2) for the Pre-School, to join our team and uphold OFSTED and National standards. You will hold a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or higher and lead the room in the manager's absence, delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS.

You will organise progress updates with parents, maintain records, plan curriculum and rota duties, supervise trainees, and ensure a safe, stimulating environment that supports

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or above.
• Commitment to OFSTED and National standards.
• Experience delivering pre-school curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Delivers lessons per EYFS curriculum for pre-school children.
• Maintains records of children’s progress and development.
• Organises termly meetings and progress updates with parents.
• Prepares termly progress and transition reports for school.
• Teaches songs and stories; promotes language, social and physical development.
• Supervises assistants and trainees.
• Assists with curriculum planning and rota of duties.
• Applies EYFS knowledge throughout the day.
• Liaises with parents to involve them in learning.
