Job summary

Busy Bees Derby Oakwood is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children’s development within a nurturing, educational setting. You will contribute to a Bee Curious curriculum and work closely with families to promote growth and curiosity.

The role focuses on planning engaging activities, maintaining a safe learning environment, and tracking progress through observations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
