Job summary

MiChild Group at Teddies Day Nursery, Royal Oldham Hospital Grounds, is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our caring team. You will work with children aged 0–5, implementing the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies in a supportive setting.

With rotating early and late shifts, you’ll contribute to a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, development, and wellbeing while building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Demonstrated safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Experience in a nursery with 0–5s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotating weekly shifts: early 7:00–16:00 and late 8:30–18:00.
• Support learning and development through play and observation.
