Job summary

University of Bath's nursery is seeking passionate and ambitious Early Years Educators to join our team, ensuring high-quality childcare and education aligned with the EYFS. You will contribute to a safe, caring environment where children can learn and develop to their full potential.

The role requires teamwork, excellent communication, and the ability to plan and assess as a key person. A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education is required, with DBS clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or above.
• Ability to observe, assess and plan as a key person.
• Ability to produce written documentation to support progress of individual children.

Responsibilities

• assist the team in providing high-quality childcare and education appropriate to the age and stage of development of the children
• work to maintain a safe, secure and caring environment
• complete tasks in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage
• maintain children's records and carry out assessments, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented in the Nursery
