Job summary

Sancton Wood Nursery is seeking an Early Years Educator to support learning, development and wellbeing for children aged 12 months to 4 years. The role offers full-time or part-time patterns, with shifts 7:30am–6:00pm and flexible start/finish options.

Qualifications include Level 3 in EYFS (or pursuing EBR) and Desirable Paediatric First Aid. Join a warm, supportive team within the Dukes Education community, with strong development prospects.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or equivalent) in EYFS or above, or willing to study for the EBR qualification.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable.
• We welcome trainees and experienced staff alike to apply and develop in early years education.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning activities aligned with EYFS.
• Promote learning, development and wellbeing through play-based and structured experiences.
• Observe and record children's progress for journals and reports.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers; communicate professionally.
