Sussex Community NHS Trust operates hospital-based nurseries delivering high-quality care and education for children aged 9 months to 5 years. Join a purpose-driven team supporting NHS staff and their families within a busy hospital setting.

This permanent role requires a qualified Early Years practitioner with EYFS knowledge and strong communication with parents and external agencies. You will plan activities, supervise children, and contribute to a collaborative nursery environment.

Competenze

• Early Years Qualification (NVQ/CACHE or equivalent).
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (current).
• Safeguarding/Child Protection training completed.

Mansioni

• Communicate effectively with staff and external agencies, including Ofsted.
• Interact with children at their level, using appropriate communication methods.
• Plan and lead activities to support learning and development.
• Safeguard children and report concerns to management promptly.
• Work with parents daily to share updates and support partnership.
• Observe and record children's progress and identify development gaps.

Conoscenze

Strong verbal and written skills

Formazione

Early Years Qualification

GCSE English & Maths at level 4/C or above
