Job description

Job Title: Early Years Educator

Passionate Early Years Educator required for a local nursery in Bedale. Set in an established and highly sought-after nursery, this role is available for applicants holding a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, with strong childcare skills and a love of caring for others.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply knowledge of the EYFS to support children's development and learning.
  2. Create a nurturing, inclusive environment for children, colleagues, and families.
  3. Ensure children are well supervised, happy, and engaged in activities.
  4. Collaborate with team members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
  5. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and well-being.
Requirements
  1. Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher.
  2. Experience in a similar role.
  3. Organized, adaptable, and creative in approach.
  4. Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner.
  5. Flexible availability, with options for part-time or full-time work (3 to 5 days, 8am - 6pm).
  6. Motivated and passionate about early childhood education.
