Job summary

My First Friends is seeking an Early Years Educator Apprentice in Droitwich. You will work full time, with 20% of your week devoted to training, while gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing setting. The role follows EYFS guidelines and focuses on play-based learning to support children’s development.

You will join a supportive team, engage with families, and contribute to a warm, safe space where children can thrive and learn through everyday activities.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education and experience working with children is preferred for a level 3 role.
• You will engage in play-based activities and support children's development following EYFS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a supportive team and learn on the job.
• Dedicate 20% of your week to training with the remainder on-hand experience.
• Help create a warm, safe space where children thrive.
• Engage children in play-based activities inspired by EYFS.
• Build relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Assist with daily routines, maintaining high safety and hygiene standards.
