Granby Nurseries offers an on-the-job training apprenticeship for an Early Years Educator. This role supports children aged 0–5, assisting with activities, observation, and safety, while completing academic coursework to meet EYFS standards. The pathway includes progression to Level 3 and potentially to a room leader position.

Level 2 qualification in Early Years

On-the-job training as an Early Years Educator Apprentice, supporting the children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old. If you are a qualified Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 qualification, this would be your next level in progression to be Qualified as an Early Years Educator with a Level 3 qualification.

• Supports and delivers care and education for young children (0-5), participating in activities like crafts, music, and outdoor play, helping with personal care (feeding, changing)
• Observing children's development
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Building parent partnerships, and completing academic coursework alongside practical training to meet EYFS standards
• Would be required to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Be patient and understanding for the needs of children
• Be committed to completing the apprenticeship with a passion and vision for a career in Early Years
• Fully Qualified Early Years Educator
• Could then progress to be a room leader
• Level 5 early years as a manager or deputy

About the Training

• On-the-job training, you will be taught by your manager and other qualified early years staff within the setting
• Monthly online virtual masterclasses with the training provider and other students doing the same qualification
