Radbrook Nursery and Pre-School Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to support learning and development in our baby and pre-school rooms. You will work with the team to plan activities, observe progress and maintain learning files, under supervision.
The role offers a level 3 Early Years educator apprenticeship, 1 year 6 months, with SHREWSBURY COLLEGE as the training provider.
We are looking for a friendly, caring Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Radbrook Nursery and Pre-School. We are a small setting with a baby room for under 2s and a pre-school room for ages 2-4. You will work with our pre-school team, supporting children’s learning, development and activities.
We are a private run nursery and hold up to 18 children a day in our setting. This includes just 3 babies and 15 children in our pre-school room.
The role involves working closely with children, parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being, development and individual needs of each child. It requires being a positive and supportive member of the staff team, showing genuine care and respect for children and their families, and helping to ensure the nursery runs smoothly each day. The role also involves supporting the key person through observations, planning and maintaining children’s files, learning from senior staff, assisting with activities and daily duties, and using initiative when needed. All responsibilities should be carried out in line with the nursery’s policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, ensuring children receive a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning experience.
