Job summary

Vale View Primary School in Stockport invites applications for an enthusiastic Early Years Educator (Level 3) to start ASAP. The role is fixed-term for one year, 32.5 hours per week, term time only, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The post requires a Level 3 EY qualification and experience in an early years setting.

You will work with a caring team to support children's learning using the EYFS framework, safeguarding principles and effective teamwork, with opportunities for CPD.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an early year’s setting.
• Good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and applying its principles.
• Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and supporting children with SEND.
• Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

• Sound safeguarding knowledge.

Vale View Primary School currently has an exciting vacancy for an enthusiastic, effective and committed full time Early Years Educator (Level 3) to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an early year’s setting and hold a relevant early year’s level 3 qualification. You will work with our caring and dedicated team to support children’s early learning and development by providing high quality learning opportunities and care. The post will be fixed term for one year in the first instance.

About you:

• You will hold a relevant Level 3 Early Year’s qualification
• You will have successful experience of working in an early year’s setting
• You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and be able to put the principles into practice
• You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and have experience of working to support children who have special educational needs
• You will have excellent literacy (Level 2 qualification), numeracy and IT skills
• You will be committed, motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
• You will enjoy working as part of a team
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and outside agencies
• You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding
