Thrift Farm Day Nursery – Part of the Farm Day Nurseries Group

Join us at an exciting time of growth! Our new 96-place Thrift Farm Day Nursery building will open in Autumn 2025. We are offering a generous £1000 joining bonus for this role!

Thrift Farm Day Nursery’s ethos focuses on outdoor learning, natural materials, resources, and a “child-led” learning approach, providing a unique environment and learning experiences for children. Due to continued success and expansion, we are now recruiting for our idyllic nursery located at Thrift Farm in Whaddon.

  • Tastecard for staff— up to 50% off restaurants, cafes, takeaways, cinema tickets, and days out
  • Free tickets and family discounts into Thrift Farm
  • 28 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days with service

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for confident early years professionals eager for a new challenge. You should be motivated, proactive, and able to contribute ideas and activities. You must be familiar with the EYFS framework and have experience in a similar role.

Ideally, you will hold a relevant early years qualification (Level 3 or above), but Level 2 or unqualified applicants with experience will also be considered.

Due to our rural location, a full driving license and own transport are required, as public transport links are limited.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

Please note the nursery operates from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts. Applicants should be able to commit to early and late shifts.
