Job description

Early Years Educator

Seeking an Early Years Educator with either a CACHE, NVQ, BTEC Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Early Years education and is passionate about working with children, or has a BA Hons Early Years Degree in Early Years education from the UK or Overseas, or has Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or a Montessori Teaching Qualification. The candidate should enjoy working with children aged 0-5 years old.

Starting salary: GBP25,000pa - GBP32,000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays. Option to work either all year round or term time only.

Job Description:

  1. Planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS.
  2. Playing games and working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
  3. Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  4. Following health and safety policies and procedures.
  5. Carrying out observations of children and writing reports.
  6. Assisting on trips to places of interest with children.
  7. Interacting with parents and updating them on child's progress.
  8. Supervising play.
