A reputable teaching recruitment agency is looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to join a supportive team at a primary school in Kennington, Southwark. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about working with young children and supporting those with additional needs. Responsibilities include inspiring learning through play and managing daily routines. The ideal candidate should hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification and have experience in Early Years education.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in Early Years.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (full & relevant).
  • Paediatric First Aid (not essential but ideal).
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh).

Responsibilities

  • Inspire learning through early years play.
  • Support smooth daily routines - from mealtimes to naptimes.
  • Carry out observations, assessments and planning for your key children.

Overview

Early Years Educator
Sanza Teaching Agency are working in partnership with a small, inclusive primary school in Kennington, Southwark, to recruit a dedicated Early Years Educator to join their supportive team on a full-time basis (school hours). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children, particularly in supporting pupils with additional needs.

Role Details
  • Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm, 4 days and 1 day 9am- 6pm (term time only)
  • Salary: Grade 5 SCP 6 - 13
  • Location: Kennington, Southwark
  • Nearest Station: Kennington - Northern Line / Excellent bus links
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire learning through early years play
  • Support smooth daily routines - from mealtimes to naptimes
  • Carry out observations, assessments and planning for your key children, build strong, trusted relationships with children and families
  • Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice
  • Be a positive role model
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children in Early Years
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (full & relevant)
  • Paediatric First Aid (not essential but ideal)
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset
