We are currently seeking a confident, motivated and resilient individual to join our team as an Early Years Development Assistant. As an Early Years Development Assistant, you will support the development, delivery and quality assurance of childcare provision across Neath Port Talbot. You will work directly with childcare settings, including home-based childcare providers, offering practical advice, guidance and constructive challenge to help them meet statutory requirements, funded childcare guidance and agreed quality standards.
Your daily routine will involve building effective professional relationships with childcare providers while maintaining clear expectations for quality and compliance. You will need the confidence and resilience to respond to complex situations, provide clear feedback and hold challenging conversations when improvements are required.
