Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Chef to provide nourishing, age-appropriate meals for children in our Cambridgeshire-based nursery. You will plan menus with minimal waste, cater to dietary needs, and work closely with staff and parents to support healthy eating.

This role offers on-site parking, a supportive team, and benefits including childcare discounts and enhanced leave.

Formación

• Previous cooking experience in domestic or commercial settings.
• Ability to plan nutritious meals with minimal wastage.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergies.
• Food Safety certification required (CIEH L2 or equivalent).
• Good communication with colleagues, children and parents.
• Ability to work under pressure in a nursery environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals for all children.
• Ensure dietary requirements are catered for and communicated to the team.
• Lead cookery activities with children and support nursery events.
• Support with nursery activities such as BBQs and staff meetings.
