Job summary

Little Oaks Pre-School in Waddesdon is looking for a qualified Pre-school Assistant to join our team. You will work with caring staff to support children's play and development, delivering engaging activities tailored to each child.

The role is term-time only (minimum 19.5 hours/week), Monday, Wednesday and Friday 09:00–15:30, and is a permanent position. National Minimum Wage applies, with eligibility requiring Level 2 EY qualifications and safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 (or above) Early Years qualification.
• Experience working at this level for minimum 1 year.
• Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development through play and planned activities.
• Assist in creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support individual needs.
• Set up and tidy resources before and after sessions, maintain cleanliness.
