Job description

Location:

Bearsden and Milngavie Sports Club, Auchenhowie Rd, Milngavie, Glasgow G62 6EJ

Your role:

Our Early Years Assistants are responsible for providing a high standard of learning, development and care for our children, which is steeped in the knowledge of attachment theory and early brain development. Supported by our Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager, our team will nurture environments that are emotionally and physically safe.

Qualities and characteristics:

  • Have a fascination and curiosity in the development of children
  • Show a commitment to ensuring their professional development remains relevant and up to date through accessing current research on child development
  • Be an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic person with the ability to have fun
  • Demonstrate compassion, kindness, integrity and authenticity

  • Salary banding: £10,400 to £18,532.80 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
