Job summary

Old Barn Day Nursery in Narborough is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to cover lunchtimes. Join a part-time role at 16 hours per week, working between Monday and Friday, supporting children under supervision of Level 3 qualified practitioners.

The nursery offers a supportive environment with career progression, a 16-hour weekly timetable, and extensive benefits. Salary up to £12.71 per hour with regular reviews.

Qualifications

• Care for children during lunch period and support mealtimes.
• Support activities under Level 3 qualified practitioners.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for children, parents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Support lunchtime meals and provide additional support where required.
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners.
• Maintain an attractive and welcoming environment for the children.
• Attend staff meetings and undertake training as required.
