We are looking for a full-time, passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Timperley, situated in Timperley.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working as part of a nursery team caring for babies and children up to age 5
  • Engaging in daily activities, interactive play, reading, and supporting children’s curiosity and learning
  • Communicating daily with parents about their child's activities
  • Providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment
  • Supporting colleagues in children’s developmental milestones
  • Promoting child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar)
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies
