Nursery – Bright Horizons Witney Day Nursery

Salary – Starting from £26,790.40 per annum / £12.88 per hour (dependent on qualification and experience)

Location – Witney, Oxfordshire

We’re seeking an Early Years Assistant to join our Witney nursery. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' nursery caters for up to 85 children from ages 3 months to 5 years, with 3 age-based rooms and a beautiful outdoor space.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to care for babies and children up to age 5. You will engage in interactive play, activities, reading, and fostering curiosity—supporting colleagues and each child's development towards key milestones.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential – roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder are relevant
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging
  • Ability to build trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
