Guildford Nursery School and Family Centre is recruiting an Early Years Assistant to support young children at our Maintained Nursery School across two sites, with term-time hours and pro rata salary. The role focuses on inclusive education, positive child development and collaborative teamwork within a large outdoor space.

Successful candidates will join a friendly, supportive staff team and have opportunities to gain formal qualifications while contributing to a high-quality early years

Early Years Assistant

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £25,133 pa FTE pro rata

Contract: Permanent

Our large Maintained Nursery School is based on two sites, both with wonderful outdoor spaces.

We have some permanent and temporary roles available and are looking for people with a passion for early years education and a can-do attitude.

Role:

The posts will be based at either Guildford Nursery School, Hazel Avenue GU1 1NR or Guildford Nursery School, York Road GU1 4DU.

Candidate Qualities:

Hours of work:

• 8.45am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday.
• 10.00am - 2.00pm Monday - Thursday

Salary range: PS3 £25,133 FTE pro rata

Actual annual salary:

• £20,270 pa pro rata based on 33.75 hours per week, term time only 8:45am-4:00pm Monday - Friday
• £9,609 pa pro rata based on 16 hours per week, term time only 10:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Thursday
