Nursery – Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from: £25,538.40 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours- Full time, Monday-Friday

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Sawbridgeworth Nursery. The nursery is a listed building which is Ofsted rated “Good” and situated in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire and is only a 10 minute walk from the station. The nursery is in a rural area with a lovely garden area and light airy rooms. Locally, you will find unique amenities including shops and cafés and street parking nearby.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
