Job summary

Seaward Day Nursery in Bournemouth is seeking a Nursery Assistant Apprentice to begin an Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship (Level 2 or 3) depending on experience.

You will learn to plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 1-4, support daily routines, and help maintain a safe, stimulating setting while you train.

This apprenticeship offers hands-on training, access to in-house and external training, and 28 days holiday pro rata plus a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship toward Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner.
• Willingness to learn and engage with young children.

Responsibilities

• Look after and care for young children aged 1–4 years.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities.
• Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
• Perform daily nursery tasks and general cleaning.
• Assist with nappy changing and toileting as needed.
• Learn and participate in day-to-day nursery operations.
• Support safety and happiness of all children in care.
