Job summary

Living Heritage Nursery in Southampton is seeking an Early Years Apprentice. You will be trained on-the-job with a buddy, working towards becoming a key person in our nursery.

You will observe, assess and plan engaging activities aligned with individual learning needs, while upholding safeguarding and health & safety standards. Realise provides on-the-job training; DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a passionate and reliable individual with excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in delivering high-quality care and education for children and manage daily nursery operations.
• Contribute ideas to planning to ensure high-quality learning and development.
• Liaise with nursery staff regarding children's needs and requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment.
• Adhere to nursery policies and procedures and health & safety requirements.
