Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Alcester is offering an Early Years Apprentice position. You will learn through hands-on experience alongside experienced staff, supporting children with play, routines, and development while gaining formal apprenticeship training.

This role includes 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 20% of time allocated to off-the-job learning. The package features a structured development path through The National College and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Interest in working with children.
• Willingness to learn and commit to apprenticeship.
• Good communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Help create a warm, welcoming environment for every child.
• Support play and learning aligned with EYFS.
• Observe and learn child development milestones and progress.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, hygiene and rest periods.
• Participate in safeguarding and practical training.
