Job summary

Little Adventures Nursery Group is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our nursery team. You will support care, play and learning for children aged 0–5 under the supervision of senior staff and Room Manager, while gaining a recognised childcare qualification.

The role offers on-the-job mentoring, a structured apprenticeship programme and opportunities to develop professionally within our expanding group.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with young children and families.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks (DBS).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care, play and learning experiences for 0–5 year olds.
• Support planning and delivery of EYFS-aligned activities.
• Help prepare learning environments and resources for daily routines.
• Observe children and contribute to assessments under supervision.
