Overview

Compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants needed for a care home in Nottingham, in the NG5 area, that provides nursing and residential care for people experiencing neurological illnesses, brain injuries or mental health illnesses.

The home provides care for residents aged 18-65, and as a Care Assistant, you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care and daily activities
• Encourage service users to remain as independent as possible
• Follow personalised care plans and report any issues you may encounter

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience within a similar care environment
• Checkable work history
• Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control (online training available with an added fee if certificates are not current)
• In-date Enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, assistance can be provided to arrange a new one

This is an ongoing opportunity and a rewarding role.

Your typical hours of working will be Monday to Friday starting at 07:00 and finishing at 14:00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of 12.35 plus accrued 28 days holiday pay.
