Job summary

Etive House Care Home in Scotland (Oban area) is seeking a part-time Care Assistant for Twilight shifts (6am - 9am). You will support residents with daily living, follow care plans and contribute to wellbeing in a small 62-resident setting near Oban. Training and ongoing development are provided.

PVG pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave (FT basis) are offered to support a caring, stable working environment.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment where relationships matter.

Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £14.10 per hour
• Flexible Shifts to suit your lifestyle -Twilight Shift (6am - 9am)
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
