Job summary

City of Wolverhampton Council is hiring an Early Support Officer to join the Adult Social Care – Early Support & Enabling Carers to Care team in Wolverhampton.

You will deliver early and outcomes-focused support to adults and carers, listening to what matters and helping them stay independent. You’ll work with partners and communities, using the Three Conversations model and keep ethical records.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting adults, families or carers in the community.
• Understands the aims of Adult Social Care and early support.
• Can communicate well, build positive relationships and work with people from different backgrounds.
• Can work flexibly, manage their own workload and use problem-solving skills.
• Is committed to equality, inclusion and improving outcomes for local people.
• You will need English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent), and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• An Enhanced DBS check is required.
