Adecco in Heysham is hiring an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a fast-moving logistics team. You will load and unload vehicles, scan freight, and help keep the depot running smoothly.

The role offers a temp-to-perm path after 12 weeks, with a starting pay of £13.50 per hour and early shifts starting around 3:00–4:00am.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT Licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Strong attention to detail when scanning and handling freight.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading trailers and delivery vehicles.
• Scanning freight accurately in and out of the depot.
• Ensuring all consignments are handled and processed correctly.
• Loading vehicles to meet tight dispatch deadlines.
• Assisting with warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Clearing and organising the warehouse once vehicles have been dispatched.
