Job summary

Home Bargains in Middlesbrough is hiring Fill Shift Team Members for up to 16 hours per week in a part-time, permanent role. Hourly rates are £12.71 for those aged 18-20 and £13.00 for 21+.

We offer early-hour shifts (5am–9am) and a friendly team environment where you’ll help stock shelves and assist customers. You’ll work in a fast-paced store, supporting with tills, restocking, and flexible tasks across Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to varying tasks.
• Willingness to work early shifts and weekends if required.
• Good communication and friendly, approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of Home Bargains, delivering enthusiastic customer service.
• Assist with stocking, shelf replenishment, and store cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till accurately.
• Support across departments (Café, Bakery, Garden Centre) as needed.
