Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring for a store colleague role with early shifts starting at 4.30am. You will deliver friendly, natural service, learn products, and support customers across the store.

You'll work in a diverse, inclusive team, with a guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week and pay starting at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in certain stores. Over 18s only, with flexible working options discussed at application.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
