Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to cover 10-20 miles walked per day and move bins from roadside to hopper.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all rounds are completed within timescales with high customer service.
• Assist driver in preparing the vehicle for the day.
• Ensure PPE is available and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Operate machinery and ensure driver is visible when reversing.
• Report service issues to team managers.
• Undertake assisted collections and return bins to designated points.
• Communicate calmly and cordially with the public and staff.
• Follow Council and departmental policies (Risk Assessments, Code of Conduct, etc.).
• Assist with other collections and rounds as reasonably requested.
