Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is looking for self-employed delivery drivers to support newspaper and magazine deliveries across the Exeter area. Early morning shifts (3:00am–9:00am) with routes assigned; you’ll manage the pack, drive a 3.5T van, and deliver to around 20–30 customers.

You’ll need a valid UK or European driving licence and access to a suitable van. This role offers weekly payments, flexible days based on availability, and onboarding to get you started quickly.

Qualifications

• Valid UK or European driving licence.
• Access to a suitable 3.5T van (route dependent).
• No van? We may be able to point you in the right direction.

Responsibilities

• Pack newspapers and magazines for delivery.
• Follow a dedicated delivery route.
• Deliver to approximately 20–30 customers.
• Collect returns and recycling bags.
• Scan returned products back at the depot.
