Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking an Assistant Team Manager in the Early Help (Education) team to lead a team of School Navigators and strengthen the Families First Partnership Programme. You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to ensure high-quality, strengths-based practice across education settings.

Working closely with schools, families and partner agencies, you’ll help deliver timely support, develop services, and contribute to ongoing innovation in Hampshire’s approach to

Qualifications

Professional qualification in management or equivalent experience.
Significant UK-based frontline experience with children, young people and families.
Experience leading and developing practitioners in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong understanding of Early Help, safeguarding and strengths-based approaches.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and develop a team of School Navigators.
Support workflow management, quality assurance and decision-making.
Provide professional guidance and oversight including reviews of longer-term support.
Build partnerships with schools, families and multi-agency professionals.
Support service delivery, performance improvement and local priorities.
