A local council is seeking an Early Help Support Worker to improve outcomes for children and families across the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area. This role involves delivering interventions for youth aged 0-25 with special educational needs, ensuring a high-quality service. From 1 December 2025, our refreshed Pay and Reward package comes into effect, bringing a new approach to how we recognise and reward roles across the Council. This means the salary for this role will be changing.
The pay range for this role will be £33,699 - £39,152 p.a. (pro rata for part time colleagues) from 1 December 2025.

As an Early Help Support Worker, you will be a key member of the Early Help and Targeted Intervention Service, working across localities (Locality 1- Christchurch and Bournemouth and Locality 2 – Poole), in the Early Help Access Point, the Partnership Team or Family Information Service.
Your role will involve delivering high-quality interventions to support children and young people aged 0-19 and up to 25 with SEND aiming to improve outcomes and build parental capacity, strengths, and resilience. Work directly with professionals and the public looking to seek information, advice and guidance and undertaking live screening tools. This will involve work with young people that are not in education, employment or training, young carers, those children and young people who are on the edge of care or returning to their families after being in care.
